you are a first time athlete or are returning to fitness goals for the first
time since you were a kid, this is the program focus for you.
General Focus programs are offered at three main
levels:
Individual
Semi-Custom
Custom

Gradually
increasing workouts (including your choice of cycling, walking,
running, swimming, etc.) build you up from the beginning
to a fitness level where you could begin the buildup to a century ride
or other endurance event. The program
includes many interesting exercises,
optional weight lifting and one or two gradually longer rides or other
workouts each week.
All workouts can easily be combined with a busy work or family
schedule. The General Fitness program is available in both heart rate
and perceived exertion versions.

Individual level
General Fitness Program
For:
Beginning or returning athletes setting realistic fitness goals,
including weight-loss and increased aerobic fitness and strength
Program focus overview:
developing, maintaining and improving fitness using cycling and other
fitness tools
Includes:
Personal coach, daily direction and exercise descriptions, updated
monthly.
Features:
Minimum and maximum workout time suggestions to fit the program to your
time available. Includes
cross-training, weight training and varied exercises.
Consultation:
60 minutes with your personal coach is included each month.

Semi-Custom General Fitness Program
For:
Beginning or returning athletes with fitness goals who
would like a near Custom program without the Custom price
Program focus
overview:
developing, maintaining and improving fitness using cycling and other
fitness tools
Includes:
Personal coach, daily direction and individual exercise descriptions,
scheduled around your personal, and potential event schedule, updated
monthly.
Features:
Minimum and maximum workout time suggestions to fit the program to your
time available. Includes
cross-training, weight training and varied exercises.
Consultation:
90 minutes with your personal coach is included each month.

Custom level General Fitness Program
For:
Beginning or returning athletes setting realistic fitness goals,
including weight-loss and increased aerobic fitness and strength who
desire an even higher level of detail, customization and attention, or
for those who have a combination focus or unpredictable personal or
work schedule.
Program focus
overview:
Developing, maintaining and improving fitness using cycling and other
fitness tools
Includes:
Personal coach, daily direction and individual exercise descriptions,
scheduled around your personal and potential event schedule to the hour if
necessary, updated as needed.
Features:
Workout times and individually created exercises formed to your time
available and focus points. Also, cross training, weight training and varied exercises.
Consultation:
3 hours with your personal coach is included each month,
including scheduled or coach initiated communication.
